As for Scrivener - it&#039;s even better for non-fiction. The writing tools are basic, as it provides everything you need and no &quot;bloat&quot; to get in the way, but the researching options are where it comes into its own as you can drag anything into a research folder and view it as you work.  Plus you can annotate as you write, and cross-link sections. It&#039;s just a great tool, and you can try it for free. I hope you like it.
