Episodes
Episode One: Attack of the 50Ft Man
This was how it all started – me, Freddy and Holly hanging out in Paris, trying to find some fun. Lucky I took more than enough with me; sometimes I’m so creative I scare myself. You don’t need the details here, just download the pdf and read for yourself.
Episode Two: The Beautiful Spy
Man, that girl was hot, but so much trouble, right from the start. If anyone was going to mess with Freddy’s head it was going to be her, but at least he was one of the few people she didn’t shoot. Oh, and I met a prostitute, who was cool, and her pimp, who wasn’t.
Episode Three: Bad Blood
What can I say? Some people just have it coming. I know Freddy and Holly were mad about how things played out, but I never felt like any of it was my fault. Not really.
Episode Four: You Are Here
This was how CinéManche began – trying to find a way to drag Freddy back from the brink. It was also how we met Jean-Baptiste and started him on the road to artistic integrity. Even Holly was happy by the end – kind of. I guess sometimes things need to get as bad as they can get before the ideas start to flow.
Episode Five: The Girl at the End of the World (Part One)
I should’ve known there’d be trouble when Veil came to town; too many spies in a confined space and bad things happen. Still, I had my first foray into international movie distribution to distract me, and yes, petty crime is distracting too.
Episode Six: The Girl at the End of the World (Part Two)
Okay – things got pretty unfun there for a while, but it all worked out. There were a lot of dead bodies, and Holly was treading a fine line between tour guide and hostess, but I was happy with my performance. I’m not saying I’m the hero of the piece – just that sometimes someone has to make a move.
